Self Assessment Tax Returns
Your tax return filed on time, with every allowable cost claimed.
Sole traders, subcontractors and directors
What's involved
If you're a sole trader, a CIS subcontractor or a company director, you need to file a Self Assessment return every year. We prepare it, check every cost you're allowed to claim, and file it well before the deadline so you know what you owe in good time.
Most tradespeople miss costs they could claim: van and mileage, tools, protective gear, phone, a share of home costs, training and insurance. We go through it all with you.
If you've had CIS tax taken off, your return is where the refund gets claimed. We work out the figure and chase HMRC for the money.
You get a clear summary of your profit, your tax and when it's due. No surprises in January.
What to send us
- Your UTR and National Insurance number

Deadlines we track
- Register for Self Assessment: 5 October after the tax year you started
- Paper returns: 31 October
